Role:
We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the position of Relief Panel early childhood practitioners.
To support and assist in the provision of full-time day care of the highest quality in a community setting.
Reports to: The Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be willing to work with children of various ages two years to six years of age.
Perform a variety of tasks, such as nappy changing, toileting, feeding, nap supervision, engaging in indoor and outdoor play.
Carry out activities and conduct observations of children under the direction of the room leader.
To follow the policies and procedures of Tiny Toes.
Co-ordinate the implementation of activities suitable for different age groups.
Maintain room, and equipment, to always ensure the health and safety of children is paramount.
Ensure a high standard of hygiene.
Organise materials and toys to the benefit of children.
Support children’s developments – emotional, social, physical and cognitive in carrying out activities.
Be aware of child protection procedures and advise manager should you have any concerns about a child.
Always maintain strict confidentiality.
Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned by management from time-to-time.
Attend meetings and undergo supervision and training as required.

As per the recent announcement by the DCYA, students who are enrolled in a recognized Level 6,7,8 degree, have completed practice placement working with children and have successfully completed 1 year of the degree are eligible to work in a childcare setting until 31st January 2022.
