Early Years Practitioner, Pre-School Ecce
ApplyBright Sparks Childcare Centre are looking to recruit an experienced, dedicated, professional Early Years Practitioner to join our Pre-school Ecce team of childcare professionals in our full-day care service based in Allenwood, co Kildare. We cater for Aistear and Siolta led curriculum. Our pre-school age ranges from 3-4 years.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Duties and Responsibilities of Early years Practitioners include;
- To support and assist in the provision of full time day care of the highest quality, in a holistic setting.
- Ensure a good standard of hygiene.
- Organise materials, toys and activities to the benefit of children throughout the day.
- Support children’s developments, emotional, social, physical and cognitive in carrying out activities and games.
- Conduct observations and learning stories for assigned child/children.
- Attend meetings and undergo training as required.
- Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
- Candidates must hold a minimum of FETAC level 6 or equivalent in childcare qualification.
- Candidates must provide 2 written references and a copy of their certificates at the interview.
- Candidate details will be submitted for Garda vetting.
- International vetting is required for candidates who have lived outside of the jurisdiction for a period of 3 months or more.
HOURS:
Full time, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week, Rota : 8-5/ 9-6
